A game of Red Dog starts with the player placing their bet. After this two cards are dealt to the table. What you are betting on is that the third card that is dealt will be between the first two cards. This means that if the numbers are 3 and 10, there is a spread of 6 because there is 6 numbers between the two cards.

If the first two cards dealt are conscutive nubmers (eg: 9 and 10) the hand is declared void and the players bet is returned to them.

If the first two cards dealt are the same value, the third card is drawn to check for a three-of-a-kind, which pays out at odds of 11:1.

The player has the chance to double their bet before the third card is drawn to give them the chance to win even more form the game. If the value of the third card is between the first two cards, the player wins.
